Lithograph Stephanie Weber Woman Series Three Second Edition
Description:
Stephanie Weber (American, b.1942) is a professional painter whose current work uses horizontal or vertical stripes and rich colors in her work. She has been called a minimal sensualist, as her work is neither fully Abstract nor exact. This lithograph is most likely from the 1960s or 70s and features a portrait of a Victorian woman whose hat has morphed into a rose. The pink is offset by sepia tones and a smaller image of a Victorian man against a brick wall hovers above her. Beautifully framed in a silver leaf wood frame.

Weber studied at the University of California in Los Angeles, CA, in the early 1960's. She studied alongside Richard Diebenkorn (American, 1922–1993) and Nathan Oliveira (American, 1938–2010).
